👋 Why Voyager?

We love AI chatbots, but sometimes we wish they had just a bit more structure.

That's why I built Voyager. It's a companion that helps you keep your AI conversations organized, accessible, and productive — whether you're on Gemini, Claude, or ChatGPT. If you're a researcher juggling dozens of threads, a developer saving code snippets, or just someone who loves order, Voyager is designed for you.

Try Voyager
During the issue on February 18th where the Google Gemini App caused some users' historical conversations to become inaccessible, Voyager users were still able to see their saved conversations in their folders.

✨ Features

🌌 Core (Gemini & AI Studio)

  • 📂 Folder Organization: Organize chats into a two-level folder hierarchy with drag-and-drop support.
    • Gemini: Supports Account Isolation Mode and Custom Folder Colors.
  • 💡 Prompt Vault: Save and reuse prompts across Gemini, AI Studio, and custom websites.
  • ☁️ Cloud Sync: Sync folders and prompts through Google Drive, or iCloud on Safari.
  • 🗑️ Batch Delete: Bulk delete conversations.
  • 📐 Formula Copy: One-click copy for LaTeX and MathML (Word) source codes.
  • 🌦️ Visual Effects: Add seasonal ambience with snow, cinematic rain, or falling sakura petals from the settings panel.

✨ Gemini Exclusive

  • 📍 Timeline Navigation: Visual nodes to jump between messages, star key moments, and manage conversation branches.
  • 💾 Chat Export: Export conversations to JSON, Markdown, or PDF with images included.
  • 🧜‍♀️ Mermaid Rendering: Auto-render flowcharts, sequence diagrams, and other Mermaid charts.
  • 📝 Markdown Rendering Fix: Automatically fix broken bold syntax caused by Gemini's injected HTML elements.
  • 🍌 Image Refinement: Lossless watermark removal for Gemini-generated images.
  • 🔬 Deep Research: Extract thinking processes and research links from Deep Research sessions.
  • 🛠️ Power Tools:

🔌 Claude, ChatGPT & DeepSeek

Powered by the Voyager Plugin Engine, these features extend your experience beyond Gemini:

  • 📍 Timeline: Conversation sidebar with starred messages and search — the same navigation flow, now on Claude and DeepSeek.
  • 📊 Claude Usage Bar: Track your session and weekly usage directly in the Claude interface.
  • 📐 Formula Copy: One-click copy for LaTeX and MathML source codes (shared with Gemini; also on DeepSeek).
  • 📖 Comfortable Reading Width: Adjust chat width for a better reading experience on Claude, ChatGPT, and DeepSeek.
  • 🈶 CJK Render Fix: Fix CJK character rendering issues on Claude.
  • ⌨️ Vim Input: Vim-style modal editing and cursor navigation in the DeepSeek composer.
  • 📜 Code Wrapping: On DeepSeek, long code lines scroll sideways instead of wrapping, so indentation survives.

🧩 Any Site — Even Localhost

Add any site in the extension popup and the Prompt Manager follows you there, local apps included. Here it is inside DeepSeek Harness running on localhost:3080:

Prompt Manager running inside DeepSeek Harness

🎨 Personalization

  • Open the extension popup and find Visual Effects to switch between Off, Snow, Sakura, and Rain.
  • Effects are rendered as lightweight full-screen overlays and do not block page interaction.
  • When you switch effects or turn them off, existing particles drain out naturally instead of disappearing abruptly.

📥 Installation

⚠️ Note: Prompt Manager is the only feature that supports Gemini for Enterprise.

🌟 Credits

Voyager is a small side project. I'd rather spend time building things that help people than building migration paths designed to pull users away from other extensions.

    ## ✨ What's New | Feature | Description | By | | --- | --- | --- | | **DeepSeek support** | A DeepSeek site adapter plus five official plugins: timeline with starred messages and search, formula copy, adjustable reading width, Vim editing in the composer, and code that keeps its own lines. | PR #981, #982, #1010, #1011 by @ccch1mneyyy | | **Voyager takes each site's colours** | Light and dark now resolve once from the site adapter (`data-gv-scheme`) instead of every surface reading the host's own dark-mode class, and the accent follows `brandColor`. A newly adapted site inherits every existing surface with no CSS of its own. | — | | **Plugin catalogs update without a release** | Catalogs are fetched per host from voyager.nagi.fun, so a new plugin or a fix no longer waits for an extension release. The bundled catalog stays the offline baseline. | PR #998, #1000, #1001 | | **Reorder saved prompts** | Drag a prompt by the handle at the end of its row, or focus the handle and use ↑/↓. The order stays right while a search or tag filter hides part of the list. | — | | **Pin prompts** | The star at the end of a row keeps a prompt above the rest. | — | | **A welcome page on install** | In
